Sep. 23rd, 2018 12:08 pmDoing unto Mystique and OOC
I'm good with flirting, kissing and every form of injury up to killing which I'm not so keen on. If it's likely to be a big thing plot-wise then I usually like to discuss it first, but otherwise I'm fairly relaxed. Relationships are definitely something we should discuss first, backtagging-is the story of my life, and no fourth-walling please!
Otherwise Mystique does have the tendency to walk around naked in her true form and is likely to ignore most requests to cover up IC-ly. All the intimate parts are fully covered by her scales see here, but if this makes you uncomfortable ooc-ly do let me know.
I've probably forgotten something, but that's what the edit button is for ;)
Mystique doing unto you
Being a shapeshifter, Mystique will naturally use her powers from time to time. So;
Mimicry: Can Mystique shift into your character with everyone's full (IC) knowledge that she is her and not actually who she looks like?
Impersonation: Can Mystique pretend to be your character when interacting with others in-game? Other characters may or may not know that it's actually Mystique.
Fighting: Can she injure your character? For anything major I'll be in touch anyway to discuss.
Spying on: Observing others is what she does, but would you be alright with her poking around in your character's quarters, maybe watching them covertly?

Date: 2018-09-23 01:12 pm (UTC)Impersonation: heck yes!!
Fighting: she can try. river was raised to be an assassin from childhood so she's pretty skilled
Spying on: absolutely
Mimicry: yes!
Impersonation: heck yes!!
Fighting: yes! vanessa can't fight but would attempt to (poorly) defend herself
Spying on: absolutely
river and vanessa would both hate this (river probably the most) which means we should do something/plot with it? i also have permissions for both river and vanessa if it interests you.

Date: 2018-09-23 02:01 pm (UTC)Well if River hates it then we should definitely plot it lmao. 'Sarah's going to be quietly gathering information on all the station residents, so hopefully more than enough to impersonate River when she needs to ;)

Date: 2018-09-23 02:17 pm (UTC)considering that river's biology is not human, and it's been too long to remember this myself, would her transformation be biologically correct or just like an assumed human based on appearance so that's what she'll transform into?
(i know, please correct me if i'm wrong, it's been too long, that she doesn't copy powers but biologically....)
either way she'll end up with a surprise

Date: 2018-09-23 02:26 pm (UTC)You're right she can copy biology, usually the change is just cosmetic because it's easier but if she needs to she can, and perhaps in this case will so as to work out how to improve her own physiological functions, thanks River! ;)

Date: 2018-09-23 01:55 pm (UTC)Iris - TLV
Date: 2019-01-03 12:27 pm (UTC)Impersonation: ask me first but basically yes
Fighting: oh god yes. Iris is stronger than human and also very trained so she'll give her a good run for her money. Also, Iris cheats.
Spying on: Iris' cabin lock is virtually unhackable, but covert watching is good to go. She's more likely to notice it than Joe Average, but she'll just put it down to healthy curiosity.

Date: 2024-02-05 08:14 pm (UTC)Impersonation: Yes!
Fighting: Yes! (Although Norton whinges a lot if he's hurt.)
Spying on: Yes! (Norton's cabin has a switch that gives it power-dampening effect like Zero. The switch is usually off, but I figure I should mention it.)

Date: 2024-02-06 03:09 am (UTC)Mimicry—Heck yes, please do this! I’d like to know/plot before it happens, but having Avalon be on the other end of the shapeshifting sounds like fun!
Impersonation—Same as above!
Fighting—They don’t get into fights randomly, so they probably wouldn’t attack her, but I’m cool with her attacking them.
Spying on—I’d rather not have her poking around in their cabin.

Date: 2024-02-06 11:53 am (UTC)Richter/Arthur/Eiffel/Hunter - TLV
Date: 2024-02-06 06:54 am (UTC)Impersonation: Full permission for all! Eiffel specifically will be a bitch to impersonate because he's noteworthy for speaking primarily in pop culture references.
Fighting: Absolutely! Richter and Hunter are trained fighters and so can hold their own, Richter in particular because he's trained to fight actual demons, but Eiffel is a pacifist and won't fight back.
Perfect hostage materialSpying on: Full permissions, but Arthur keeps his room locked at all times.
Also worth noting: Richter can 'smell' non humans, particularly demons and vampires. If that's something you'd like to play with we can absolutely say that Mystique smells weird to him in some way, remarkably off-human so he can identify her when she's transformed?
Also Eiffel is a massive pop culture nerd so he will recognise Mystique in her base form; let me know if you'd like to avoid fourth-walling her with him!

Date: 2024-02-06 12:18 pm (UTC)That's definitely something I'd like to explore with Richter. She has worked out how to alter and suppress her scent, so in her natural form she doesn't have a scent at all, which I imagine would be extremely off-putting given that all living things have a smell? It's possible that because her powers are currently locked on the Barge that she as Emily doesn't smell right, maybe an older woman with a reptilian underlay? If Richter tells Emily he can smell non-humans, then when she has her powers back she might deliberately keep suppressing her scent in any shapeshifts around him so that he thinks he can identify her?

Date: 2024-02-07 01:01 am (UTC)It's debatable how much scent actually means scent and is more code for 'the Belmonts can sense Non-humans and it manifests in some weird magic way for them as a smell', so I don't think she'd be able to hide it in that way? Because no matter what she is, she's still a mutant, sort of thing. HOWEVER it would totally be possible to have Richter lose her trail if she tried, it's by no means a be-all end-all solution for catching her every time!
